The College of Teacher Education offers Bachelor of Elementary Education (GR No. 164, s. 1963), Bachelor of Secondary Education with specializations in Science, English, Filipino, Mathematics, and Social Studies (GR No. 164, s. 1963), and Bachelor of Elementary Education with specialization in Preschool Education (GR No. 002, s. 2017), which was converted to Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (CMO 76, s. 2017).
VISION
The College of Teacher Education is committed to the formation and development of teachers and trainers who are nurtured with Christian ideals and values, competent and dedicated to relate soil to social well-being and social institutions. The faculty is committed to the development of attributes germane to teaching and to the concept of placing all teachers in responsible role of leadership.
MISSION
The College of Teacher Education strives to prepare pre-service teachers for professional service and leadership. Its curriculum is designed to foster in prospective teachers the knowledge, attitude and skills and to instill in them a dedication to service, responsible leadership, and commitment to lifelong learning.
OBJECTIVES
The College of Teacher Education aims to produce graduates who:
- demonstrate exemplary performance in their teaching profession;
- exhibit social awareness, trained in skill in decision making and prepared for creative action;
- value intellectual honesty and are ethically sensitive and responsive to the needs of the disadvantaged, depressed and unprivileged in society;
- conversant with the economic, political, social and cultural realities of Philippine life.
